In 2006, One Stop service performed over 800 events for wedding receptions, anniversary parties, birthday parties, as well as many school dance party events, including college formals, proms, homecoming, and graduation parties.
We'll play music and DJ at small, private, personal, office, and business companies for holiday and Christmas parties.
You can take steps to plan a simple private, elegant affair, or go for a great big "SPLASH" of 300 people that One Stop regularly plays for.
Corporations who have used our DJ service include McDonald's, Rush Cardiology, Loyola Medical Center, Circuit City, and dozens of others (listed on next page).
We have 18 mobile disc jockeys who will provide music entertainment from the song list that you have returned with your special music selections circled.
Your DJ will act as emcee to introduce the bridal party, make necessary announcements, and take guest requests.
Your DJ will play music softly for dinner so that grandma and grandpa can talk and then turn your event into a Dance-A-Thon of musical entertainment guests will talk about in the years to come.
Your One Stop Professional Disc Jockey will provide the music and entertainment you wish to have, with the amount of guest interaction you wish to have.
You can select an outgoing DJ from our personality profile, or select someone who is more quiet and reserved to just play your music selections.
Our DJs sign a contract to play at your location. Since our DJs use our equipment, they cannot do another party at the last minute for more money (as is so common today with many single DJ companies).
In hiring a DJ service, as One Stop is, you're getting at least TWO backup DJs, each whom is paid to act as a backup in the event one of our DJs becomes ill or is involved in an accident.
Our disc jockeys live nearby your party location in Chicago and suburbs, such as Naperville, LaGrange, Lombard, Glen Ellyn, OakBrook, Downers Grove, Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, and Rockford (to name just a few).
Our DJ service performed over 750 events in 2007, by far the most events performed in the Chicagoland region. You'll find our sensible, reasonable prices are based on the fact we are the best at what we do. With the amount of jobs we do every year, we are able to give better prices. Many of our competing DJ companies called us to complain and have convinced many of their bretheren that their high prices are "industry standards".
Don't believe it folks! It's hogwash. I've been doing this business longer than many of them have been born.
We even needed to hire an attorney to protect us from the slanderous remarks and threatening phone calls from other DJ companies and associations who will use any means to justify their unfair horrendous pricing. It's true!!
Just to answer a few of the common untruths told of us:
Yes .. our DJ equipment is industrial equipment, with names like Yamaha, JBL, Bose, Gemini, Numark, QSC, Shure, Panasonic, etc..
No .. we do not have special set-up charges or tear down pricing.
No .. we do not have extra fees for lighting or acting as emcee to make announcements.
No .. we have no additional costs.
Try to avoid these DJs who slander others. Most are very young, inexperienced, or not very good, otherwise they would rely on their own personal achievements and list their many professional references.
But the fact is, One Stop DJ Service made over $400,000 in sales in each of the last two years. Indeed, we are the premier DJ association with the most experienced, well trained, educated staff in the Chicago and midwestern region.
